A wine cooler or cabinet is an electrical refrigeration appliance. Plug it into a suitable domestic socket per the instructions (a built-in model to its own supply as specified), never into an overloaded extension, and leave the stated ventilation clearance around the compressor and vents or it will not cool properly. After transport, stand the appliance upright for the time stated in the manual before switching it on, so the compressor oil settles. It is heavy when loaded with bottles and must stand level on a floor that can take the weight; a tall cabinet should be stable and not overloaded on one side.
